Hello, I bought this and the lights do not work. Any ideas?
1. Check to ensure the AAA batteries are charged and you have placed the batteries at right directions.Then make sure the battery switch is at the ‘ON’ position.
2. Check to see the LED light and the wires are complete and not broken.
3. Check the touch mother board is complete and not broken:see the electric component parts embedded on are full and welded firmly. Make sure that the wires are connected accurately.Red wires are connected to Positive electrode,black wires are connected to Negative electrode.
4. Check the same color wires are connected firmly
How long does it stay on with the touchlight ? Will it turn off itself?
The light in the book nook kit will be on if you press the switch. It will turn off if you press it again. Unless the batteries run out,it will not turn off itself.

Have enjoyed making this, but some of the prices need to be glued instead of just slotting in. Also the cauldron was a nightmare! Broke so many pieces, so it won't be in my book nook!
Got this as a Christmas gift and I absolutely love everything about this kit! The instructions were clear and easy to follow and it was so much fun to put together! I can’t stop looking at it! I adore how much detail goes into these even as far as having actual titles on the book covers(my favorite being “The Great Gatsby”) and actual writing on the scrolls and wall papers. I love how easy it is to make it a little bit your own. I used a few of my “back up” pieces in different places, filled in spots with my extra books, and was able to control how many scrolls I used through the whole project. As a person who struggles with anxiety, this was so calming because with how tiny the pieces are and how precise you have to be it’s hard to think about anything else going on. It was wonderful to get out of my head for a bit and just focus on this precious little book nook. I will definitely be purchasing more and telling everyone I know about it!
Been wanting book nooks for years and at first I was weary bc they seem way cheaper on this website than any other I've seen.
turns out it got shipped and delivered extremely quickly, the quality is very good, all the parts are thick where u don't need to worry about breaking them when u build them, building the book nook was also very fun (I just saw it's supposed to take 15 hrs but somehow I did it in 7 lmao)
now I have my first book nook in my library and I love it ❤️
The kit looks good, but after the unpacking a week ago a still can't start collecting it because of the awful chemical smell of the wooden peaces. Must keep it on the balcony and hope the smell to reduce :(
Besides, unlike the other kits, this one doesn't contain any tools, no glue, no tweezers or smth else you may need for work.
I have done two in two months. The only reason I haven't done more is because I am trying to space out the joy. I have a lot of hobbies, but building these is by far the most rewarding.
