Hello, I bought this and the lights do not work. Any ideas?
1. Check to ensure the AAA batteries are charged and you have placed the batteries at right directions.Then make sure the battery switch is at the ‘ON’ position.
2. Check to see the LED light and the wires are complete and not broken.
3. Check the touch mother board is complete and not broken:see the electric component parts embedded on are full and welded firmly. Make sure that the wires are connected accurately.Red wires are connected to Positive electrode,black wires are connected to Negative electrode.
4. Check the same color wires are connected firmly
How long does it stay on with the touchlight ? Will it turn off itself?
The light in the book nook kit will be on if you press the switch. It will turn off if you press it again. Unless the batteries run out,it will not turn off itself.

Like Lego but even cuter. I got Nebula Common Room for Christmas and it is my very first book nook. I am in love! The instructions are super clear and it was so so much fun to put together that I was deliberately pacing myself towards the end because I didn't want it to be over. There are so many tiny details and they are all so cute, the quality is great and it makes me so happy every time I walk past it. Buy at your own risk because I guarantee you will NEED more once you finish it.

Amazing! Love the dust covers included. It has more lights with thought out positions and directions; love the touch light. The pieces snap together, so you don't need to use nearly as much glue like with [the eternal library and sailing memory]. Oh and the book covers and posters are stickers!!! That is huge!! And most the peices are cut out in a way that there is no need to see the sanded parts( if you know you know). Oh and don't be afraid to put your own spin on things if able. For Example I changed up the newspaper holder so that I could see the sirius black poster.
I only had one little mishap. I will include a picture. But the back of the book nook was supposed to have holes available for placing the two E16's. Since there was no holes, I just cut/sanded out the pegs on the E16's and glued them to the board to the best of my ability. And it eventually worked out.
Figure 1&2 shows lack of holes for E16 parts. Figure 3 shows Sirius black poster.

Okay it’s a bit long, but I have a couple good tips!!
I received this for Christmas and very quickly fell in love!! There are so many tiny details and it was all reasonably easy to put together, and looks just like in the pictures (dare I say better?) (yes I do say better) (way cooler in person)
Many of the more delicate pieces came with an backup, which was very helpful. I used regular white school glue where applicable and it worked great!
Pro tip: use something small like a toothpick to apply, you don’t need that much, and let the glue dry a bit and get tacky if you’re struggling with the pieces sliding down. I used a different toothpick to wipe off the glue that squeezed out.
It was very enjoyable to put together and I definitely plan on starting a collection!
Second pro tip: I don’t think it says in the directions, but the touch sensor for the lights works through the wood! Just tape it underneath the star on top and give it a nice firm tap (it looses a smidge of sensitivity through the wood, but it is not impeding in any way!)
Truly amazing product, truly shines when placed in a bookshelf, and I can’t wait to creat more!!

This is going to be great for my classroom. The product itself takes some time to put together. There are a lot of little pieces. It is nice and sturdy because it is made of wood. It would be nice for them to supply glue in the box. So, remember to get some glue before you start assembling.

This was a great summer project for my daughter. She is 15 years old. This might be difficult for some super young. Patience is definitely needed. . It took her about 20 hours to complete and she loves the end results. The only bummer was she left out the lights.
