Hello, I bought this and the lights do not work. Any ideas?
1. Check to ensure the AAA batteries are charged and you have placed the batteries at right directions.Then make sure the battery switch is at the ‘ON’ position.
2. Check to see the LED light and the wires are complete and not broken.
3. Check the touch mother board is complete and not broken:see the electric component parts embedded on are full and welded firmly. Make sure that the wires are connected accurately.Red wires are connected to Positive electrode,black wires are connected to Negative electrode.
4. Check the same color wires are connected firmly
How long does it stay on with the touchlight ? Will it turn off itself?
The light in the book nook kit will be on if you press the switch. It will turn off if you press it again. Unless the batteries run out,it will not turn off itself.

These look so good - this one is my favourite. Going to be ordering a few asap!!!!
I really liked this book nook kit. It was easy (but not too easy) to assemble. Everything is really well designed. In particular, the lights are well thought out and there is a clever bendable door with a latch for when you need to change the batteries. There are also a lot of clever details, much, but not all, of it reminiscent of Harry Potter. I also like the fact that the completed kit has a clear, removable front panel, so it won't collect dust internally.
The laser-cut boards are very precise and the pieces fit together well and very snugly. The instructions are very clear, the board and sticker printing is highly detailed. There is gluing required, but most of the pieces fit together without gluing necessary.
Some of the steps are a bit tricky, but overall it was very straight-forward.
The tabs holding the wooden pieces to the framing are very narrow and fairly easy to remove the pieces, either by hand or with an Xacto knife. I also used a marker to match the lighter color of the cut tabs with the darker color of the laser-cut edges.
I am very pleased with this kit, and look forward to getting more of this brand.
I have only had this for two days and am already addicted to assembling it. The pieces in my opinion are well made and for being such an unusual puzzle book end I think it was well designed and well made and I will bet in the future these will get more elaborate and sturdier. I love puzzles and this is more challenging in some ways but easier and more relaxing in other ways. There are only 259 pieces but this is going to take me a couple of weeks to complete to my OCD satisfaction. It says the total time to complete is roughly 8 hours but it will take me roughly 24 hours to complete give or take an hour. It has a Harry Potter Vibe. I have limited time to work on things I enjoy and this gives me something to look forward to. I have already checked out Fsolis webpage and see other kits I want to order. I will update my review when I complete this Book Nook. As a person who loves puzzles, if someone gifted this to me I would be over the moon. I added this to my gift ideas list for other folks in my life.
I saw these on tiktok and had to get one. It took me about 2 evenings.
They give you extras of small pieces that might break which one did so that came in handy.
I just kept saying to myself 'omg this is such a blast' ... bit of a nerd here! Lol
I'm a little sad though, idk what happened to the original listing, there were a bunch of other options available. Might check out their website.
